« on: December 08, 2020, 04:48:16 PM »
Bottling this soon. Any recommendations for vols of CO2 for a 8.3% imperial stout? I'm thinking of going with 2.0
On Tap/Bottled: Imperial Pils, IPA, Red Rye, Yellow Lager

Fermenting: Transcendent Eclipse IPA
Up Next: bangers & mash, Bopils

2.0 seems reasonable to me.

2.0 vols is spot-on for an imperial stout. Save me a bottle!

The BJCP guidelines cite 1.5 to 2.3 volumes, so you're in center field at 2.0.
