Best Homebrew Supply in Pittsburgh
« on: December 11, 2020, 02:39:01 pm »
My brother will be moving to Pittsburgh, PA next year, and I would like to buy him a gift certificate to an area homebrew supply to give him for Christmas. Anyone in the area have any great suggestions?

South Hills Brewing.  You can check out their website here: https://southhillsbrewing.com/.  They have two locations, which is pretty nice.  Although with the current COVID situation, only one location is open for pick up of online orders.  Very friendly and knowledgable staff.

There is More Beer, though it is only a warehouse/no walk in store front.
"The intriguing situation about brewing, on the other hand, is that mechanisms are theoretically possible, and the real key to success is the ability to identify those that are genuinely relevant in any particular situation."

I would also recommend South Hills Brewing.  I used to use their store on the North side of town and they always had a good supply of malts, hops and yeast.
