Ballast Point Dorado IIPA
« on: November 11, 2009, 06:36:14 pm »
I bought a bomber of this back over the summer not ever having heard of either this brew or the brewing company.  This has to be one of the best 'large' IPAs that I've ever tasted.  A very nice balance of malt and hops that made this brew go down all too quickly.
Yeast Starters: none
Primary: Piney the Conifer
Secondary: Pliny the Elder, Scottish Wee Heavy
Bottled: Undead-Guy Ale, Habanero IPA, Belgian Tripel IPA, Blind Pig, "Island Zombie" Ale, Apple/Rasp Hard Cider

I have had that and agree.

At the NHC they were pouring Sculpin.  Maybe better!
