I just ordered some extract from Sprechers. They call it an extract but probably more of a syrup. I was talking to their sales rep, I asked when the raspberry and strawberry flavors may be back in stock.
I was told Sprecher is considering dropping the extract line completely. So if you use their product, even the root beer, you might want to drop them a line.
I think they're making a mistake. I have, just recently, saw morning shows where carbonating at home was demonstrated (using co2 tank and carbonator) and talked about.
Although carbonation at home using co2 cartridges has been around a while Soda Stream put it into millions of homes. So popular they were bought by Pepsi for 2+ billion?
Now that using co2 5lb or smaller tanks and a carbonator method is growing it's not the time to move away from making some of the best extract (syrup,) there is. Sprechers needs to rethink that.
