Doesn't say anything about my Titan's either. That said, overall it looks pretty believable. All except Pittsburgh. That team is going to start out with major problems and I think they will have a hard time recovering. I think they have as much of a chance to win a WC as the Titans. And I am hoping the Titans are going to surprise every one the way they did 2008/9 season.  8)

Keith

I betcha the Jags steal at least one if not both games from them this year, which doesn't portend for a playoff run. ;D

I'd be willing to literally  take that bet - that they will win two against my Titans. How comfortable do you really feel?

beer related bet, sure. I'll PM you.

at the end, I must admit that a fleeting temptation crossed my mind to "accidently" spill something over the edge.

now that is funny.  damn, that was a good game, but only because you guys were slow out of the gate.

How 'bout splitting this thread into "Overpaid Prima-donna Football" (NFL) and "Real Football" (NCAA)?  Although I guess the "overpaid" part might factor into real football if your Reggie Bush or any member of the UNC team :)

I enjoy both, but I like the NFL much better. College football would be fine if there were more actual games rather than 44-3 blowouts that just aren't really fun to watch. And the fact that you have to expect your team to be undefeated to actually win the "Championship" or have any respectable ranking is kind of silly. And the fact that there is no real play off, only a few sports writers opinions who should play who. And the fact that the "Nation Champion" will always really be in doubt since there is no type of playoff system.

No, college football is fine but it is no where near as slick or as fun as the NFL.

Im just going to pretend that Pete Carrol will make a decent nfl coach and lead the hawks out of the mess they are in.  If we can keep Hasselback off his back it will at least be an improvement.

As a Patriots fan, I can tell you he's not.   He's was a "player's coach", and the players walked all over him.

I'm thinking they're going to be better than you'd expect - they are starting to get some pieces in place.  Not playoffs yet (lets not get crazy here), but Stafford will win you some games.

Yeah, Mike Williams is a better player than Housyourmama?  Riiiiight....

I'm not one to armchair personell moves as GMs/scouts get paid a lot for what they do, but that one smells pretty 'homerish'.

Don't forget Arena Football and, of course, the Lingerie Football League http://www.lflus.com/schedule/.

The Lions do have a chance at being the most improved team.  They certainly can't fall.
