The S-189 turned out great!  I think there’s only 1 bottle left. Very clean, malty, tasty. I prefer it to the WLP940 which turned out good but more dull.


Awesome looks like the ph wasn’t much of an issue. I saw that brulosophy had similar results and his ph was even higher than that

Was an effort made to lower the pH either pre-boil or during the boil?

I’ve done room temp S-189 with similar results. Good beer.

Nope, nothing. Just hard pH 8.3 water plus malt. No salts before or after. And I’ll do it again next time, because, why not.
