Infected Batch
« on: July 13, 2021, 06:10:10 am »
Hi,
I am trying to brew a batch of NEIPA and is about 11 days into dry hopping.
It does not smell bad or sour but looks a little different. There is a lot of hop residue that can be seen in the imp attached below link.
Can someone please help me figure if it is infected.

There's nothing wrong with the beer from the picture. It's just hops and/or trub. RDWHAHB.

Fermentation is a beautiful thing. But it isn't pretty. ;)

It doesn't look infected to me.
Some day we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny

Oh oka that’s relieving to hear.

The small white set if bubbles was getting me concerned.

Thanks guys.

It is been determined that dry hopping for that length of time can lead to vegetal and grassy off flavors. Why so long?
