Unknown hop variety - red tinge?
« on: September 14, 2010, 04:12:11 pm »
I'm wondering if someone can help me identify a hop variety. I don't have pictures, but the cones have a distinct red/maroon tinge which strikes me as fairly distinctive. I know who planted them, but he doesn't remember what they were other than he acquired them as cuttings from one of Kent's (UK) major hop growers. As I have free access to literally pounds of hops, I'm keen to know what they are!
