Tower of power temp control

Hello, broke out my system to brew today. Electric Tower of Power set up. After set up, my temp control is no working. Able to manually adjust power to coils but no actual dial in temp just says “no control.” Think it may be a faulty temp cable, but like everything blichmann I have to find a replacement and wait. Anyone have a similar issue with loss of temp control?

I do not have Blichman but my controller temp probe has failed before. Like you said: without the feedback loop you’re basically driving an on/off switch to control temp manually. Not good.

I don't have the TOP, rather the EBC 130 Wort Hog from High Gravity. I bought a few back up cables and when they fail, they are easily fixed with a dab of solder, so when one goes down, I always have a back up.
