I just gave beersmith 3.0 a whirl since recently being tired of not being able to see my beersmith info while at work.  I have used 2.0 for years.  Can anybody explain to me why efficiency is under the tab calories?  that is odd to me but there has to be a reason. Thanks

I’m not sure what you’re seeing, or what screen you’re on.   But I can tell you that BS3 is very customizable; it can show you virtually anything you need to see by simply customizing the page.  Perhaps you can post some screen shots and I may be able to walk you through.
