dead mouse in my carboy

just started brewing after 10 years pulled out my basic kit to find  what I had and to my suprise found a dead mouse in my carboy if I clean it with a brush and soak it in bleach will I be ok?

No worries... Just give it a thorough cleaning and sanitizing.

No problem at all. I had this happen once; the real mystery was how it got in (the carboy wasn't in a box or anything, so it would have to have leapt from the wall or fallen from the ceiling - I don't think mice can scale vertical glass).

then again, you might want to be adventerous, take a walk on the wild side. just leave that poor mousie in place and ferment away. sort of a cock ale variant. then you could really make use of Jeff's naming suggestions.

Did I read somewhere that chickens were put in some kind of brew or was I just having a nightmare? I guess a rat could be used for the same purpose.
