R.I.P. Tammy
« on: August 13, 2021, 09:04:33 pm »
It hurts me beyond words to say that Thursday, August 12th at 7:30 a.m. Mrs Weaze took her final breath after a hard fight with blood cancer. Things were looking good for a while there. The cancer itself had been cured. However, due to her weakened immune system she developed pneumonia. She was placed in the ICU on a ventilator for some days until she was able to breathe on her own. She was extubated and and sent back to the bone marrow transplant floor after not quite a week. Her body had been through too much, she was too tired and too much damage had been done from the pneumonia. My little girl, step girl, will be 14 on labor day. We are bonding closer every day and will strengthen each other to carry on. There will be bad days, good days, and really bad days. But I'm so glad we have each other.
R.I.P. My beautiful Tammy. I will love you fir the rest of my life.

Barry, I am so sorry.  I know what a huge difference she made in your life.  My thoughts are with you and your daughter.
