Silafine/Biofine clear in whirlpool?
« on: August 19, 2021, 11:48:28 am »
Does anyone have any experience using Silafine in the whirlpool? I've gone on and off on whirlfloc, and am currently giving the kick tablets a try (Seems pretty good so far). Seems like a good chance to consolidate. I know a lot don't use kettle finings, but I'm just interested to hear how effective Silafine compared to carrageenan/whirlfloc/kick.

Dosage Rate in Whirlpool:
SilaFine can also be used in the whirlpool at a rate of 0.5-1ml per gallon to achieve a quicker and more compact sedimentation in the kettle.
