PiD settings
« on: September 11, 2021, 02:27:08 pm »
Struggling with pid settings.  I watched a video by George Duncan (barley and hops) and he had these settings:
Ctl 1
P 1
I 540
D 200

Will these values work for brewing rather than distilling? and where the hell can I figure  out what these mean without calculus?

Thanks!

Oh! So if I just autotune it, all of that gets adjusted without me having to adjust it?!?!  Well damn.  I will autotune it.  That I know how to do.  Awesome!

No they won't (or at least not well). Good thing autotune is available because it is a lot of math to figure it out.
