Bottling Nitro Stout for a comp
« on: February 13, 2022, 03:01:49 pm »
Any thoughts?  My Irish stout tastes great on nitro stout tap.  Anybody ever try to beergun a nitro to bottle for a comp?  Perhaps just switch over to a low psi CO2 dispense?  Thinking of entering, but not sure how best to retain the best attributes on this beer.  Cheers.

Poured from a bottle, it will simply be an undercarbed stout. It's not possible to capture in a bottle the creamy head that you would get from a nitro pour on tap. That kind of head from a nitro pour comes from the faucet and high-pressure dispensing.
