Dispensing Equipment For Nitrogen/Beer Gas
« on: September 16, 2010, 07:07:17 pm »
Hello All:

I am planning on making an Oatmeal Stout.  I am interested in the use of nitrogen.   Other than the gas/tank/gauges are there other requirements?  Do I have to have a nitrogen dispensing head/tap?

Thanks

Yeah, the tap is the most important thing really.  Gas places near me will put the CO2/N2 mix in a CO2 tank, so I don't need different gauges or a different tank.  But it wouldn't be the same without the faucet.

Here is the faucet I just bought for dispensing beers on beergas: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/taps-faucets-pid-JESF-4.html.

The beergas I get (70/30) uses the same regulator as my Co2.  And I use my factory made kegarator.
