Hey all!!

The second last week of April my wife and I will be in St. Louis for a wedding.
We are driving in from the Des Moines area and I'll really only have Friday night after ~8:00PM to get a beer (or 3), a good pretzel and maybe other pub foods and am looking for a good brewery within walking distance to do some family avoidance before the wedding on Saturday (long story no one needs to hear  8) ).

Sooooo, any folks from STL out there with a recommendation for "the" brewery to hit?  Obviously, I'm not looking to go to a AB outlet.  ;D

Thanks!

Paul
Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Walking distance from the Arch. Hmm.

Headed south, you'll first hit the Broadway Oyster Bar. Good fare, live music. A little further on, you'll hit 4 Hands. Pretty sizable local brewery. A little further, you'll find International Tap House. Lots of beers, 'industrial chic'.

I'm a big fan of Civil Life's beers, but they're outside walking distance. Nice easy drinking renditions of classic styles.

Get an Uber to Urban Chestnut.
This is the correct answer, for me.

Of the two locations, I like the Grove location best. They have a kitchen with German food too.
