Thanks for the grain Tommy. It is happily fermenting away.
Thinking about the next batch already.

Did Pearly’s have roasted barley?

PS. Thanks for the spiced wheat ale. I drank it last night. It was good.

They had a 1 lb bag of 300L. Worked.
Third day and still bubbling away.

Tommy. Thanks for introducing me to 256 Brewers.  Entered my first beer for the SMaSH contest last night.  I drew Vic Secret hops.
Dwain I did what you suggested and dry hopped it after a late hop addition. Kept the bitterness low but still brought the hops flavor to the front.

Low alcohol content though.  Should have been 6% but was only 3.2. I think it didn’t have enough oxygen in the primary fermenter.

I have considered selling 1-10# backs of malt and 1-4 oz bags of hops at XEO plus dry yeast, WF, etc. Still haven't decided to go for it yet. But you can always put a bulk malt order though with me if you want.

I just put a huge order in at morebeer when they had a recent sale.  Apparently, I wasn’t paying close enough attention to my cart.

I bought a 5 lb. bag of GW C60 I didn’t need. I think that was in my cart from previous visit to the website. Now I have like 9 lbs of C60.

I also bought 3 packs of DAP! I wanted one to make a candy syrup. I have no idea how I ended up with 3 in my cart.

I always have stuff like roasted barley, chocolate malt, crystal malts etc at XEO. Right now I buy the bulk of my basemalt crushed so that's probably not something y'all are interested in but I can ad uncrushed malts when I place an order.

If anyone wants to just drive out and check out what I have you are more than welcome.

Keith.
Thanks. I was happily surprised.  Unfortunately I’m out of it now.  My son came over and grabbed all but one bottle since he had friends coming over.  My wife and I split the one we had left at dinner today. (It was a liter bottle so don’t feel to bad for me ).

I was bummed I missed your taproom takeover at the Nook.
I am off this Friday so we were thinking about coming down for a pint and to get a crowler or two.

Are you having a food truck tomorrow?  We are planning to come down for dinner and a pint.

Unfortunately no. We are having a caterer on Saturday and every Saturday in July and hopefully beyond. Food truck have been challenging to secure for some reason.
