Tommy, thanks for the instruction.  Looks like it worked.

So, after my retirement ceremony (at the party which is always better than the main event), one of my old shipmates added a great beer glass to my collection.  He combined two things I love the most, America and Beer.  Matt is a retired Naval officer who now works for the State Department and just finished a detail to the Whitehouse and is preparing for another exciting overseas tour.  Whitehouse glasses are available at the WH gift shop, but not the Camp David editions.  (Yes, I know the glass is from Camp David, but there isn't a Lego set for Camp David.)

Forgot to ID the beer.  It is the Virginia Porter from Mount Vernan, brewed on premises.

Now I need a new job, then a new house.  I promised my wife a tiki bar in our next house.  Unfortunately, several of my beer glasses from overseas have broken over the years.  I am taking care of this one.  I still have my Guinness glass from James Gate and one from Mack. the northern most brewery in the free world (69N in Tromso Norway.)

Yea wish I had taken it.  I suspect the Mass Communication Specialist (the new name for the old Photographer's Mate rating) photo shopped it.  The tem gave me a cool picture of it framed and signed on my way out the door to hang on the wall of my future office.

As a graphics guy, I should have known its photoshopped after closer examination. Still cool.

BTW: If you are interested in buying a brewery when you get here LMK. The brewery you visited me at (Rocket Republic) in Madison is for sale. And it is a literal steal.

…and it has HUGE unrealized potential.

Buy a brewery - that would be one great way to make my wife freak out.

Why is the owner selling?

Yeah, there's nowhere in DC that looks down on the Pentagon like that.
