Anvil Sledge Fermenter
« on: May 06, 2022, 03:06:03 pm »
Anyone have one of these yet?  I really like the price point, the size, the ability to pressure transfer, and that it isn't as tall as other fermenters and two will fit into my chest freezer.  I currently ferment in a 16 gallon keg with a sanke top and brew 10 gallons batches.  I really like this, but want another fermenter(s) that I can easily lift out of the fermenter.

Currently, I'm beholden to my fermenter and when the beer is done.  That tends to be a little longer as I have been cold crashing and dry hop in the fermenter at 35F.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Must be brand new.  Anvils website has zero information action about it.

I think it is this: https://www.anvilbrewing.com/7-9-gallon-fermenter-king-chubby

Not sure why on page 77 of the latest issue of Zymurgy is lists it as "7.9 Gallon Sledge."

It looks good at least on the Anvil web site. The listing shows it can hold up to 35 PSI.
