I read somewhere that Fermaid is made up of "dead yeast cells" and provide nutrients for the "live" yeast cells. If this is true, wouldn't my re-pitch yeast have plenty of nutrients in it making the addition of Fermaid pointless? I don't do anything other than swirl my bucket and pour the dregs into a small mason jar that I've StarSan'd inside and out, then into the fridge it goes.
