Deck rebuild
« on: July 23, 2022, 04:48:32 pm »
Decided to rebuild my tired old deck. Turned out to be a nice place to hang out when the sun goes down, drink a pint, and listen to music. Now if that Bermuda will just fill in.

*Disclaimer*: Any comment I add is simply the way I brew beer. There are certainly other ways that can be equally effective which other brewers may contribute. This is what I’ve found that works for me using my equipment and processes so I offer this for your consideration. YMMV

Chicken looks great. We had grilled chicken wings today.  No smoke just grilled. No pic.

Great looking deck and chicken. I am a little jealous that you can use the concrete blocks on the surface and don’t have to dig a four feet hole to get past the frost line and pour concrete sonetubes like we need to up here.

The deck looks great!!  The chicken looks good too.

I agree on the comment about footings.  In Iowa every beck starts with 48" holes and concrete.
