Brewery I’m working in…
« on: July 28, 2022, 01:06:13 pm »
This 4th brewery I have worked in since leaving the brewery I founded (Yellowhammer). This is the smallest one by far but also the ones who are paying me the most! Heck yeah! Lol

Anyway,I wanted to show off. Hard core LoDo guys need to divert their attention elsewhere. This brewery and pilot brewery is like a big BIAB system (BrewZilla, Anvil, etc). 1 bbl pilot system and 5 bbl main brewhouse. I’m having a right regular good ol’ time.

Right now:
Space Owl (Hazy IPA)
Space Owl with Mango and Passionfriuit
Warrior Wheat (Ginger Orange wheat ale)
SMASH Citra West Coast IPA
One Shoe Brown Porter

Soon: Octoberfest, RIS, Leichtbier, Dunkel ....

They have some beers still on tap from before I came that are absolute garbage.

ROAD TRIP!

Maybe head to Big Bob Gipson’s to try Chris Lilly’s BBQ then stop by XEO for a pint.

It's the brewery that is most like homebrewing I have ever worked in, which is why it has been so much fun. And they are even paying for my gas (because it's a long ass drive).

lol. sigh...

It's what sells. Also a very difficult beer to brew properly.

i know, sorry if that came off as dismissive, just trying to be humourous, i guess to... myself.

i can imagine it is a hellish beer style to keep in ideal condition over time.

I much prefer west coast IPAs and German and Belgian style lagers and Ales. They ask me to brew a hazy? I brew 'em a hazy. ;)

The give me free range to brew whatever I want on the pilot. It's a homebrewers dream job.

Hey, we were there a couple of weeks ago.  Good porter. Cheers.

Hey cool! There were a few beers there that weren't mine that I hope you didn't try! Hahaha!  Gonna hopefully get the last 3 bad beers off the wall this week. If I owned the brewery I would have definitely dumped them but it was sorta out of my hands.

Crud, all the way in Alabama.  Bit too far for this kid from San Francisco.  Too bad, I would have gladly stopped by for a beer or three.  LOL
