Killian’s is among the reddest of the Irish Reds.

This beer is not too dark at all. In fact, it is proving to be lighter than what I first expected.

No "roastiness" at all. Even with the 8 ounces of roast barley.

Very nice aroma. Have not sample the ale yet, just the lager.

edit: There is a hint of roast aroma, with the sample sitting at 80 degrees. At serving temp, very little if any roast.

Here are the final numbers.

OG - 1.049
FG - 1.007 5.3% ABV (Diamond)

FG - 1.014 4.6% ABV (S-04)

This promises to be a good drinking beer, both the ale and the lager.
