camlock on a mash and boil valve. Question #1
« on: September 03, 2022, 05:51:20 pm »
I have a mash and boil that I would like to put a camlock on.  It appears to be a 1/2 FPT and a type A would be my choice for that. Can anybody confirm that is the correct choice for that.  The M&B valve is odd looking to me so I'm not sure it will work.

Thanks.

Not 100% certain on the mash and boil, but on my Digiboil kettles I had to buy this fitting:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VHZXX74/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Digiboil claims 1/2 inch, but it isn’t quite right….

Not sure if this info helps or not.
