Brew room tile floor
« on: October 15, 2022, 07:45:58 pm »
My brew room has tiled floor (6" x 6" tiles).

I always clean the floor after brewing. However, I was wondering about sealing the tiles after years of use. Does anyone do? If so, recommendation of what to use to seal the floor tiles?

Thanks.

I recently had a bathroom remodeled and was talking to the tile guy quite a bit. He explained that sealing was just to reduce staining and aid in cleanup. Even sealed tile and grout will always allow liquid to penetrate. He recommended the tile sealer you just wipe on with a rag and clean any spills as soon as possible.
