Mecca Grade's Kaskela rye malt?
« on: January 14, 2023, 03:46:14 pm »
Has anyone tried MG's new rye malt, named Kaskela?

It is kilned to a lower / lighter color (2.5 SRM) than their RIMROCK rye, which they call a Vienna style rye (5.8 SRM)

[EDIT: originally I compared it to their Vanora malt, which is not rye]

Just curious...
