Says chrome plated brass valve...in the data.  In appearance, I do not know if
the metal is heavy enuff for much heat... but thanks tubercle for the link. I like
the mile high distilling cans nice nice...but the large one is sold out...at the time..

I've been toying with converting to SS fermenters instead of plastic. If there's a hole for a valve then it'll be easy for me. Guess I could always "drill" it out...
