Storing crushed grain
« on: October 04, 2010, 08:37:11 pm »
I know that whole grain will last quite awhile when stored properly. Will crushed grain last as long if it is stored properly?

Thanks,

If you vacuumed sealed it and put it in the freezer it probably would be fine.

Keep it cool and dark and it should last a couple months. It might not be the best but it won't be horrible. I had some that stayed in a closet for almost 2 years and it made pretty decent beer.
