Thanks fo the heads up, I just ordered one.
I have two of their less expensive ones that take a few seconds to get an accurate reading and like those a lot. I think they were $16-$18 when I bought them, maybe five years ago. They both work great, even the one I left outside near the wood grill all last summer then thought I lost it but found it again after being outside all winter. I found it this spring and it still worked as well as ever and it didn’t even need a new battery.

Agree.  I love my Thermapen for brewing and cooking.  I love it so much that I even think about ordering a Thermapen One, but realize it might be overkill for what I do.
