 I don't care how bad they are, but I don't consider a 3 hour drive local.  :-\

WOW, your are in BFE BFE!!!

OK, now to digress in to a little rant...

The Idaho Steelheads are part of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League), along with the Alaska Aces.... (I think someone needs a geography lesson!)

Next year the Big 10 will have 12 teams...
The Big 12 will have 10 teams...

We drive on parkways and park on driveways...

Am I the only one who is confused by all this?

Yeah, where I used to love in Youngstown, Ohio, we had a CHL team. The Steelhounds. Man they were good! But, all the other teams in the league were from Texas and Mississippi. They got sick of having to make the trip up to Ohio for their away games, and gave the Hounds the boot. That was a sad day.  :(

I'm kinda glad you couldn't watch the Sens-Pens game last night Weaz.  :'(  What an embarrassment!  My Sens forgot to show up until the 3rd, when it was too late.

If you want Gonchar back, you can have him - & please take Kovalev (Float-alev) along with him.  It sucks when your best play is an injury prone (& currently injured), over priced goalie - I have no faith in Brian Elliot as a starting goalie.

Its gonna be a loooong season.

Actually, I did find a pretty good place online to watch, so I got to see a bit of it. Don't abandon ship just yet. We still got near 80 games to play. Welcometo tthe life of a Brown's fan!

Long season is an understatement.  Hockey players are some tough dudes by any measure.

Even a bad hockey player could whoop my butt. Then again, so could an out of shape boy scout.  ::)

My poor Senators are off to a horrible start  ???  but we're only 3 games into the season - I expect they'll turn it around soon.

GO SENS GO!

I haven't been to out to see the Sens for a long time now.  I need to ge tback out there.  Being from Detroit. "Lets Go Red Wings!"  Now living in Dallas "Boo Stars"  I can't wait until I can see the Wings play the Sens again.  The Highlander Pub has the best 80 schilling Scotish Ale.  Great place to visit.

Thanks for that!  I've been on the east coast and only get back to Ottawa once in a while to visit my folks (with my kids in tow).  I'll have to make a point of visiting the Highlander Pub next time I'm there.

What is this strange "Hockey" thing you speak of.

We don't have such in the south.

Well, let's see, Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Atlanta Thrashers, Dallas Stars.....Shall I go on? And that's just NHL. AHL, and CHL are a whole other story.  ;D
