Is this system worth $5000?? Comes with a 27gallon conical fermentor, a fridge that holds 9 kegs to ferment at cooler temps, and a ton of other stuff....

It's probably 5 grand worth of stuff - but it's not a "deal". If I was going t blow that much money at once I'd check out the morebeer systems - new.

He may have dropped that much money and time into the system but what's it worth to you?

I'm in the middle of a Brutus 10 build and I can tell you that it's not cheap.  I have a couple thousand into mine so far.

Of course there's profit in it, there wouldn't be companies making it otherwise. Can you get the steel cheap enough and build fast enough to justify whatever the profit comes to be? So you need to be either better, or cheaper than the other guys.

Check this guy out - he's pretty darn cheap http://www.brewersequipment.com/New Brew Stands.html

Actually the reserve is not met. He wants 8K for everything.

Interesting question.
There is no indication where it is build and who makes it.
But they are more then willing to take your credit info!!!
By the way. they say that shipping is free.

Now let think about it.

Easy there guys with the conspiracy theories.  ::) The guy is out of TX and I just didn't want to sound like I was pimping his wares. If you float around his site you'd find he was from TX and I suppose it's cheaper because he's not making it out of 2" square like everyone else seems to think they need. So you probably can't use it as a motorcycle rack; but he's a paid sponsor on HBT and if you poke around there - there are some happy customers who can attest to his product. I am not one of them - never bought a thing from him/them. Nor do I get a commission, kickback, or affiliate payment.
