yeah - brewed in November of last year - finished the first keg ~May/June of this year, then with it being so hot, didn't want to put a bock on tap, so it sat and got pushed to the side till now - hope its as good as it was back in May - took a Silver at the Hurricane Blowoff, heck, maybe it'll be better.

Got off work early today.  Decided to brew my Ring of Fire IPA.  1.060 OG, 75 IBU.  Used up a bunch of New Zealand Hallertauer, Sorachi Ace, and Cascades that have been in the freezer longer than I normally like.  Tasted pretty good going into the fermenter tonight.

No brewing this weekend... Church of the Work tomorrow. For the first time ever my partner asked me if I'd like to spend the day brewing. Is it close to Christmas or something?

Did get to talk this week with one of the (of-age) students at our university who is planning his first brew very soon. Fun to be the little old library director who can talk about hop schedules and fermentation temperatures.

I bottled an AG batch of Denny's Rye IPA yesterday. Today I and brewed Jamil's Hop Bursting recipe (American Amber), also AG. I previously have brewed the Northern Brewer extract kit based on this recipe called Evil Twin. I'm real curious to see how this compares.

Sunday I cleaned 6 kegs, and kegged a dubbel.

ime...i've always had to warm up windsor to 70 degrees at the end of fermentation...it will tucker out, definitely does not attenuate like nottingham.

I was going to make a small batch of the Oatmeal Cookie (Brown) Ale right out of Radical Brewing for a Christmas beer.

Still working on the kegerator and the brewstand.  Probably prepare a starter for some IPA next weekend.

I'm just about finished with my kegerator.  Got the collar all stained and varnished.  Now it's just a matter of hooking everything up.  But I won't get to it this weekend since I'm heading to Chicago with the wife this afternoon for our first "getaway" in over a year!

It looks great.

Everytime I get started on mine, I get interrupted.  

I have the collar finished and all the fittings installed (shanks, faucets, etc..)
I just need to run the tubing.
It figures ...I'm out of town on a seminar until Sunday.
