Nice Ron. I love the Road King. That's one of the bikes I really, really want. If I ever make any money again I plan on buying one. First I have to buy my FJR1300 though. I have to have one of those as well.

Hey, thanks man.  I like to think its pretty bad ass, even if it is only 100 hp.

I used to be into motorcycles as much as I was into homebrew. But, while I still ride, I just don't quite get as excited about it any more. I do still enjoy riding. Just wish I had more time to do it. 90% of the time I would ride to work but I have to pick up the kids or run some errand or another so mostly if just sits now.

I have the same problem.

As I said, I don't get to ride it as much as I would like.  It's like riding in a Cadillac. I would ride ride it more if it stayed warm up here.
When the temps dip below the 40's I ride the car or truck.  I'm a whimp when it comes to the cold weather riding.

That is a SWEET Road King, bluesman!

I grew up riding dirt bikes, think I was 9 or 10 when my parents bought me a Honda Z50. Then got a CR125, then a 250. That's pretty much all I rode through high school, went to college and quit riding. Then a few years ago when gas started getting crazy, (and me driving 50 miles a day to work and back), I decided to get a cruiser. Having always ridden Hondas I bought a 2006 Shadow VLX Deluxe. It didn't take long to remember how much I loved riding! I've put about 5000 miles a year on it between commuting and just cruising. This past year my wife decided I had enough "practice" riding alone and she's started going with me on the weekends. This, naturally, means I need a larger bike. One very similar to bluesmans would do just fine!

My street bike is a `92 Honda  VFR400  NC30 JDM-spec with derestricted ignition, Yamamoto racing exhaust and other goodies ;)

Very cool bike... 8)

Flat Black. I got my paint job out of a spray can after I laid her down and couldn't afford to have it refinished. Bring your bike over and I will fix her up.  8)

At least you didn't hurt yourself too bad.  I mean you're able to brew 30 gallons of beer at a time...right.  8)

That's one thing I kind of liked about the 919... Comes in flat black from the factory.

I know, they made shiny ones too, but it's not quite the same.

Yea...I've noticed flat black seems to be the color of choice nowadays.
I kinda like it too.

As they say, each to their own, but I hate flat paint on any vehicle except maybe a camouflaged hunting truck. I want something I can polish to a eye blinding shine.:D
