I'm all set, except for winterizing the camper. We had a pretty good snow yesterday. My dad is here from Ohio, so I took him up in the monutains, on the benches, and it was really coming down.
To be quite honest, I'm from Northeast Ohi, in the snowbelt. There, we measure snow in feet, not incehs. If the weatherman says 3-4, he means 3-4 feet. Holly says she's never seen that much snow. I'm a pretty much a snow verteran. Still looking forward to a winter in the mountains, though.

Me too.  I am planning to winterize the RV this weekend.  It's always a sad affair.  :(

I'm probably getting a patio poured in January/February . . .  ;D

You can keep your feet of snow, if I want that it's only 45 minutes to an hour to the mountains.   ;)

Snow?  Its been raining non-stop since Friday here.  Over 150 mm (~ 6 inches) plus whats fallen today.  There's flooding in some parts - some folks backyards are under 6 to 8 feet of water.

Snow?  Bring it on - I can shovel snow.  This rain is starting to drive me nutty.

Snow? In Southern Idaho? Nothing compared to Ohio. I've never winterized anything in my life. LMAO. :)

You got a camper? Don't the pipes freeze if you don't winterize?

Big irrigation pump in the barn...drain water all out...
Sprayer for the trees...drain it all out and put in rv antifreeze
pack a few tons of coal into storage
check the vehicles...
stow the swamp cooler...
all that good stuff...

No camper either ;D

I put the hoses away and put caps over the outdoor faucets.  Because it will probably freeze at night some time in January, and maybe during the day if it's a bad winter :)  Nothing needs to get watered this time of year anyway . . .

I just have to turn off the water to the outside faucets and drain them and put a little fuel stabilizer into the mower and whatever mower gas I have left over.  I need to try to do that this weekend.

It's going down below freezing tonight for the first time this season.  The first sings of the winter to come.
The next sign is snow. I need to change the oil in my snowblower.

If the weatherman says 3-4, he means 3-4 feet.

Where I am, the weatherman means 3-4 mm.  I
