Tubercle don't like the "we don't know what it is" statement.

Isn't somebody responsible for protecting our coast from intruding aircraft and missiles? They should be aware of anything flying in, toward, away or around.

 Tubercle would have felt better if they said "Oh! That was______ and we knew about it the moment it left the ground" even if it was a lie.

The closest airport to that location is LAX and jets are a lot higher then this object. It was a missle and the military is on BIG TIME coverup. No doubt!

Cap, I'm no fan of our former redski adversaries, but I will hand it to them, they have one of the more musically rich and beautiful national anthems, in my book.  Very classically Russian sounding too.  I'm glad the post-soviet Russian federation reinstated the anthem (with modifications), too.  Sometimes the timeless beauty of music is, well, more important than political squabbles...at least, its nice to think that sometimes it is.  I love that mobile tuba "bass line".

Mandrake...do you recall what Clemenceau once said about war?  He said war was too important to be left to the generals.  When he said that...50 years ago...he may have been right.  But today...war is too important to be left to politicians.  They have neither the time...nor the inclination for strategic thought.

I really have this whole movie memorized.  When I was a kid, seriously, it was my absolute favorite movie.
