Bump:
One of what could possibly be the LAST 3 bottles went into the refridgerator as staging
for a liquid recycling adventure.  This night after werk that adventure is planned
.....leaving what could be the LAST 2 bottles on the planet of this fine ale.... remaining....

Proof positive that if I like it and it does well by me, that it is prolly going to go away. No matter
what IT may be.... >:(

End of the last production run? Last Winter?  Or perhaps my pleading was heard?
Probably not the latter............................................... ::)

I have a buddy who loves the stuff, too.  I never had one.  Fortunately, the info is still available on their website.  Might have to try and BYO this myself.

The NB web site says this will be in the Folly Packs as the revival beer this winter.

Which makes me wonder if it is back in production or just being rotated into sales from some warehouse ???

It's part of their revival series so it won't be around long. They have discontinued so many beers that this is a way to get them back out a bit. I wish they would decide on consistent seasonals. I don't understand the idea of continually changing everything. Personally I anticipate the yearly release of certain beers
On Tap/Bottled: IPL, Adjunct Vienna, Golden Stout, Honey Lager
Fermenting: IPA
Up Next: mexi lager, Germerican pale ale

I saw it at the grocery store today. I'm guessing it's new production, unlike the Sierra Nevada Summerfest next to it  :-\ I should rat out their distributor.

It's new production on each of the retired seasonal brew going into the folly packs. NB rotates in new seasonals every two years. It's not an indecision thing, it's an intentional way of introducing change into their regular lineup without disturbing their core products. I'm not sure how long they are going to continue producing the folly packs with bottles of the retired seasonals but that is the plan for now.

FWIW I thought 2 Below was the best winter seasonal and wish they would keep it as a regular winter offering, too.

Well, if that's true, luckily you can make it yourself! A friend of mine made a clone that was nearly spot on - all gleaned only from info on the NB website (nice Walt!). Check it out:

Your link is broken, which is really too bad.  I also really liked the 2 Below.  I grow Sterling hops, so I'd like to check out this recipe.

I have never bought a mixed 12 pack...until now.
Freaking marketing strategy... ;)  I got 4 two belows out of it.  Not quite as good as I remembered, but I enjoyed.

Those fat tires are going to sit in the fridge until some unsuspecting swill drinker comes along. ::)

I reserve the word swill for a select few. I'm not a Fat Tire lover, but I've tasted much worse.

Maybe not swill, but I'd take an Old Style over a Fat Tire.  I have never been able to figure out what's appealing about that beer.  It may be the reason I won't buy the Folly Pack.
