UP!
Stranger than fiction

those are two recent ones that really worked for me.

Ramen Girl
Gleaming the Cube (Cheesy but I love it)

so many others can't even think of all of them.

I loved the Three Amigos.
Also, Tombstone.

I have a few hundred movies I’d put in my top ten.  Here’s a few that I like in no particular order
1.   Fido – comedy, retro styled  “horror”
2.   The Lives of Others – foreign drama
3.   A Serious Man- Coen brothers comedy
4.   The Bothersome Man – foreign drama
5.   Being John Malkovich – comedy
6.   Kitchen Stories – foreign drama
7.   $9.99 – claymation thinker (also see Max & Mary)
8.   Oldboy – Korean horror
9.    High Fidelity – yeah I’m a nerd
BEST BEER MOVIE COMBO
10.   Ravenous – cannibal drama. Buy a few rauchbiers, order a pizza and have your, second date, vegetarian girlfriend over to see what kind of person she is.  Works out sometimes! (we’ve been together for 8 years now)

#4  Ferris Bueller's Day Off
#5  Major League (only the first one!)
#6  Usual Suspects

Not my favorite movie, but we watch Christmas Vacation every year.  It's the only movie that I watch like that (year after year).

In no particular order

Dr. Strangelove
Double Indemnity
The Maltese Falcon
Some Like It Hot
A toss-up between Duck Soup, Animal Crackers and a Night at the Opera

Hmm, all of those but Strangelove were made before I was born. I'll throw in Best in Show to have something close to modern
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

How about the 1983 A Christmas Story...? I'll watch it at least once this season.
