Here is the french one I was talking about.

Phantom Inventory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyvNkHC100g

Obviously not just stop motion. Looks like some CGI too.

There is one Swankmire that is loads of fun called Little Otik. It is a mix of animation and live action.

Wow, and here is Little Otik in four parts. I love youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT45Gmv1Pv4

Ok Jack, I would agree that Kubrick was brilliant, good soundtrack too.  I think I like the thriller style movie (similar to the shining) better than what most folks think of as horror.  I won't be watching SAW XXIV.  Here are a couple thriller/horror movies that I've seen lately.

1.  The devil's backbone
2.  The Broken (amusing thriller)
3.  Don't look back (amusing thriller)
4.  Let the Right One In (interesting take on vampires, USE the subtitles the dubbing is terrible)
5.  Antichrist (speaking of horror, this movie contains Willem DaFoe nudity) disturbing flick for sure, well shot/acted
6.  Oldboy (horror)
7.  The Taste of Tea (as not horror as you can get, Japanese flick)
