Has anybody seen True Grit?
Honestly, IMO, remakiing this movie is akin to trying to make Led Zepplin song better. I for one, will noy pay 9$ to see.
Amen Broither! The first
True Grit is in my top five all-time favs. I said the same thing. Then I saw it is a Coen Brothers movie (staring The Dude no less). Now Jeff Bridges is no John Wayne, but hey, Barry Pepper as "Lucky" Ned Pepper... That's a casting coup, no doubt.
I absolutely get the heeby jeebies sitting in a dark room full of sneezing and coughing strangers, so seeing it at the theater for nine bucks ain't gonna happen. But just think...
True Grit done
No Country For Old Men style. That's definetly worth a look.
