I don't think you have anything to apologize for, I see the resemblance.  It's like Captain Kangaroo and Jerry Garcia had a kid.  :)

I just noticed the scary clown has been replace by a tray of beer samples.  Did I say something wrong?

Not at all.  I've been wanting to change my avatar long before and this thread actually prompted the change.

It's all good.  :)

OK...Tom, you wear the kilt and I'll wear the clown costume to NHC.

We'll clear everyone out and have all the beer to ourselves.  ;) :D

Captain Kangaroo's TV show premiered the day I was born.  I've always been a fan.  The comparison was meant as a compliment.  ;D

The Jerry Garcia thing is a covert reference to the Brady Bunch thing... right?  ;)

Dude, I'm flattered....The Cap't. was a childhood favorite.  I still have fond memories of Mr. Moose and the ping pong balls!  And I had a Bunny Rabbit puppet just like the one on the show!
