I've always enjoyed the apparent sense of humor that went along with the intelligence of Niels Bohr.
e.g.: "I don't believe in superstition, but I hung a horse-shoe just in case."
I always feel like I'd like to meet some of the "great minds" like Bohr, Hawking, Dawkins, Einstein, Babbage, etc. But I always feel as if the most interesting ones would have no patience for my stupidity.
Still, I can't help but wonder what it'd be like to have a seat at the pub table with a group like that. And a few young co-eds.
