Looks like we won't be above zero for the remainder of Christmas break.  I'm really happy with my Grainfather right about now!

Here in my part of Maine the seven day extended forecast has us in the single numbers below zero for lows and the single numbers above zero for highs with a stiff wind. We don't usually get this kind of cold until January or February.

Pretty similar here. No relief in sight for at least the next week. Arse freezing cold.

It's been 12 to 15 below the past several nights, gets up to about 10 above in the afternoon. The overnight lows are about 20 degrees higher than the same time last year, and we have a couple feet less snow now so I'm not going to complain too loudly.
I spent most of my money on beer, tools and guns, the rest I foolishly squandered on stupid stuff!

We are looking down the barrel of an ice storm ..... potentially .25 inch of accumulating ice.  Trying to decide if I should roll the dice and start a kettle sour today and assume school will be cancelled tomorrow to finish it up ......

A few days ago, teens and ice, yesterday biting cold wind and snow, today and tomorrow 70s and thunderstorms, by next week 30s and snow again predicted.  I think Mother Nature is off her meds again!

I guess it's officially an early monsoon season, four afternoon hailstorms in a row...

You need the moisture, correct?

They were celebrating in Santa Fe when they got rain a day ago.

Most definitely. Was an early spring too, so no significant precipitation since March. You can probably tell by the grass if you look closely. ::)

Ah, yes.

We were in Santa Fe in April, they said they didn’t have a winter. No snow in the mountains equals no water in the reservoirs.

Isn't that like being in Alabama and commenting on the neighbors being brother and sister? You knew what you were getting into. ;D

Are you even prepared for May when CBC is "in town"?
