Correct. No snow in Florida. On very cold nights where the temp dips below freezing there'll be frost on the roof shingles first thing in the a.m., but that usually disappears within 30 minutes of the sun coming up. We do see the occasional snow flurries when it is "bitterly cold" (or us Floridians), but nothing stays on the ground.
The only "snow and ice" we get here in Jacksonville is when somebody accidentally leaves the automatic sprinklers on during the cold snaps--they're often programmed to water at night. Kind of cool to see the brilliant sparkle of the morning sun striking the occasional icicle covered tree or bush--reminds me of the ice storms in Minnesota which I'm all too happy to leave permanently behind after living there for 8 years.
