We still haven't had rain since around September 20, but we do have lots of forest  fires.  Last week the geniuses predicted 20% chance of rain for yesterday, but there wasn't even a cloud.  We are supposed to have a very wet monsoon season-starting in July.
Today when I went to the office it was 46F and should be around 100 by mid afternoon.  And of course very sunny.

And windy? ;)

We had a nice front come through and got some rain (finally!) for a couple hours Wednesday. Then it was gone. All the plants just loved it! We'll be going into the rainy season too come June. Last three years we got practically nothing at all. This has been bad. Silver lining about the front is that it's only been in the 80's with a cool breeze during the afternoon and down in the 50's at night. Aaaaaah.
Actually the wind has been reasonable all last week so I've been able to breathe without taking allergy meds. today is breezy, 15-20 mph but no real gusts.
Our rural water coop doesn't have great water so the plants don't grow well on it, especially my hops.  If we don''t get rain my yard starts to look like the Sahara.

Tell you what, you guys should send some of that precip our way. It hasn't rained here in nearly two months, which is absolutely unheard of for this time of year in the north of France.

OTOH, it's been pretty consistently sunny and 68-75 deg F, 10% relative humidity for those two months, so there's that. My corn is happy :)

I think all of our Spring rain went North and is now flooding the Mississippi valley. All our precious water will end up in the Gulf. :-\

It sucks but the fact that I could use a new roof kinda has me seeing a silver lining in all of this. ;) I'm only a hail-storm away from having to dole out the cash to replace the darn thing. ::)

Won't your insurance cover it if your roof is destroyed by a hailstorm?  That could make a difference if you survive the destruction. ;D

A bit of rain this morning, but we may actually see some Spring this afternoon - high is expected to be around 63.

It gets better from there - 70 by Thursay.  F'n finally!  We haven't been over 70 degrees in Seattle for EIGHT MONTHS now.  Wow.

More of the same in the forecast for the rest of the week.  Tentatively looks like the weekend might be okay though.

We have snow in the forecast every day through the weekend, but highs will be above freezing so there shouldn't be much accumulation. You can just feel that spring is almost here.

Spring is here, it's just a little different in Colorado (spring = more snow).   Here on the western slope we got zero snow this winter, but now you'd think we lived in Cambodia with all the rain we've had.

You called that one right.  Lightning just killed the substation feeding our plant so everyone got to twiddle their thumbs for an hour or so until they got power going again.

I guess I lucked out on missing the rains. Every time I was in your neck of the woods this winter it was gorgeous. I had to bring shorts to GJ a couple times.

It looks like we're going to end up right around average on snowfall for the winter (190" currently).

It was crazy today on the front range, Denver, CO area. Thunderstorms, hail with accumulation, funnel clouds with some damage reported from high winds. Winterstrom warnings, tornado warnings and watches and closing the evening with rain and fog...Ugh. Airport closed for about 2 hours. I'll be working until midnight cleaning up the mess...
