The clouds have parted and there is a big honkin full moon shining down on me and my jar of white dog...
Sippin on a lil glass of white dog myself this snowy wintery day. Feet up by the fire. Ahhhhhh

Today, cold (low-mid 30s) and rainy, with occasional hail and snow.

Flippin' COLD!
Came in to the office today, to find the gas comapny had shut off supply to the enitre office complex.
I'm amazed pipes didn't freeze over the weekend.
I believe temps are around 20*, right now.
Ponds are frozen over & lakes are getting close.

Gentle rain. A balmy 75 degrees. My tomato plants have little yellow flowers all over and some nice fruits too. Not bad for just a few days until the turkey.

Same here on the east side.  First fire of the fall in the woodstove tonight.  Very cozy on the first floor.

We had several mornings in the mid to upper 20's so my tomato plants froze.  I thought i had gotten all the ripe tomatoes the day before the freeze but after the plants died and the leaves fell off I saw about another dozen big fat red tomatoes.  I figured they'd be rotten but they were still delicious, firm and sweet even after several hard freezes.  Unfortunately I still have about 200 rotten green ones on the vines.

That's what I'm worried about, but usually those snaps don't arrive until January or even as late as February if at all. Hoping I'll get some tomatoes- enough to make sauce for the first part of the year. I'm gambling it'll be a mild winter again.
