At least we're getting some water from the sky-we've had just under 2 inches of rain since September of 2010. I stood out in the rain tonight grilling steaks and enjoyed it.

What is better than free fresh water falling from the sky?

Temps are starting to drop finally here in Eastern Iowa.  This has been one of the nicest autumns I can remember.
It's 28F right now with the winds blowing from the NW at 13mph.  Still not cold by any stretch, just trying to acclimate since I commute everywhere by bicycle.  Wind proof clothing is key.

30 and snowing here.  Tomorrow is going to be tough, we have standing water all over the roads and the temp is supposed to drop to 18F tonight.  Can you imagine the bumper car arena we'll have tomorrow morning?

32.4 and mostly clear.  The forecast says that's what we can expect for the next week, lows in the low 30s, highs in the low 40s.  I'll take it.
I forgot, that's the Seattle forecast.  We're ~10 miles further from the water and 500 feet higher.  So make that lows in the high 20s and highs in the high 30s.  35.6F now.  Too cold.

The fog was so thick this a.m....the worst fog I think I have ever witnessed. When I walked outside I got wet just walking through it. Lots of fog related accidents today.

53F and cloudy tonight (30% chance of precipitation).

Dreary and wet. Clammily cold after a two nights of below freezing. My tomatoes... :'(

The heavy rains continue down here at sea level.  Snow on the summits of Long Mountain and White Mountain.

Warm and drizzly the past 2 days, very little actual rain but no freezing stuff on the roads at least.
