It's sunny here, 46F.  Strange.

It's the same here in Iowa.  46F and sunny all day.  Now that I'm home it's overcast and getting cooler.  Very weird winter this year.  40+ in February is shorts and t-shirt weather in Iowa.

I've been out of town but my neighbor called me to say my onions are going crazy. Evidently there's been a decent amount of rain.

Damn I hope it isn't too late to plant my leek sets.

“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drank, I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn’t drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. 57 degrees with a NE wind at 13MPH. Have a system coming in over the next two days. Lots of rain coming.

Had a high of 72 yesterday and managed to plant two 30 feet rows of potatoes yesterday afternoon. Hope they dont wash away by Sat!

40F and a light drizzle of moisture.  It's more like drippy fog than real rain but we'll take any kind of water from the sky.

40F and sunny.  The guy at the local NWS station says it is the 7th warmest winter on record for Michigan.  The record shows these throughout the logs.  He did say that warm winters are oten followed by cool summers here.  We shall see.

good call, this season seems to be favoring the front range vs the mountains. little strange and annoying but welcomed

It is a good thing that we have had rain instead of snow.  There is still a little on the ground, but not much.  We are not lacking for moisture here.

Last year my elbow was killing me from shoveling snow.  This year - no problem.

Last winter we got plenty of snow/rain and it looked like maybe we would get out of this drought. this winter it has only rained about 7 times. Don't know what the snow pack up in the sierra is like, maybe it's okay, but it's looking like another dry year here in northern cali.

oh and yesterday I felt, for sure, my first earthquake since moving to CA in 2008. I suspect there have been others but my brain edited them out as loss of equilibrium.
