I've been running my air conditioning.

And the bugs are all woken up too. What we need is a hard freeze to wipe them out!

We should have 2 feet of snow on the ground.  It was 75 degrees today. Very screwy weather.

I've gone over the averages, highs and lows since the 1870's in Texas and unseasonal conditions have happened many times before. In five years we might be getting crazy ass cold weather like we got in the 80's and 90's.

Still, it's a little disheartening to see 80 degree temps when getting off at midnight and it's mid-March. :'(

In the summer/fall of 2004, in Central Florida we had four hurricanes in six weeks.  After the second one blew through I went outside and yelled, "Enough already!  Stop it!"

Two more blew through after that.  Shows you how important I am.

Lesson learned - you just gotta take it. (or move to Hawaii).

I remember that year.. it was the time when school got delayed by a full month basically. My mom, the teacher, was so frustrated by it because it really messed with the rhythm of the school year.

Man...the fog is so thick tonight. I could slice it with a butter knife. We have a dense fog advisory in effect until tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately Hawaii is not immune to the occasional hurricane either. It’s just a less likely to occur there.  Just a couple of months after the country watched Andrew roll through FL and LA, HI caught a cat four with winds of 125 kts/145 mph.

Iniki hit Kauai on 9-11-92.  They were filming Jurassic Park there at the time.

That's pretty darn warm for this early. Here in SW Louisiana our high temp was about 20 degrees cooler. Odd
