Suppose to be very hot and humid today. Imagine that...it's summer! The temp is suppose to top out at 102F today. Ouch!

Looks like a 3rd consecutive 100+ degree day. Luckily, our A/C is fine (fixed it last summer when it hit triple digits), but our fridge decided to crap out on us, and I can't get the part to fix it until Monday. Now my wife truly understands my wisdom in owning three other fridges/freezers for beer. :)

98 here already.  Luckily we got a guy to come and fix the AC so it's only 83 in the house and hopefully won't go any higher.

It was 80 when I left the house at 6 a.m.  Supposed to storm like mad this afternoon and cool it down a bit.  I can hardly wait. :o

I feel like if I watch for a few minutes I can actually see my plants turning brown.

It actually rained for a few minutes yesterday morning. This is very odd for non-coastal northern california in July. It's actully been really cool, just the 80-90 range that last week. after 110 that seems really reasonable.

I'm sitting here with all the windows open and in my swim trunks. A balmy 64 outside... Sorry guys...

I feel your pain... highs in the 40s here all last week. Fortunately we have couple feet in the forecast over the weekend.

Crappy here.  All I have to say to you is, well, I'm sure you can read my mind on this one. ;)

Light snow right now, but about 2+ feet heading our way.

Should clear up by tomorrow night so I can still brew on Sunday.

I'll admit that I'm happy that one missed us.  We had rain all day yesterday with temps in the low 40's.  Looking at mid to high 30's today.  Anything above 10F is a good day in Iowa this time of year.
